Job Requirements

Creation of both long and short-form video content which is on-brand and engaging, for multiple-purposes including on websites and social media.

Using Creative Cloud, you have the ability to bring a creative flair to projects with design, text, graphics, and music.

You have a working knowledge of video on social media and create content for these platforms that will immediately engage audiences.

An ongoing commitment to self-improvement and learning on-the-job is a must.

You will need to have the ability to edit quickly, and handle multiple tasks concurrently. 

You will enjoy following briefs and receiving direction from your teammates. 

Planning your jobs, meeting deadlines, adhering to time allocations, and working productively are essential qualities. 

You can work autonomously and also be a great team player.

The ideal candidate for this position will also have videography skills.

We shoot on Canon cinema cameras, as well a speciality cameras and rigs.

You have intermediate-to-advanced videography and sound recording skills. 

Applicants who do not possess these skill may still apply but must be willing to be trained by our team to acquire these skills.

Intermittent videography assignments will take place in the field as required by the needs of the studio.

Overall, this is a new role and offers a huge opportunity for the right candidate to grow and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end editing and delivery including:

  • Setting-up projects at house standards.
  • Media management.
  • Audio syncing multiple cameras.
  • Picture editing.
  • Color grading.
  • Motion graphics using supplied assets.
  • Attention-to-detail and spell-checking.
  • Sound mixing.
  • Export delivery via VimeoPro.
  • Daily backups, time-sheets and peer-reviews.

Videography and sound recording:

  • Travelling to location.
  • Liaising with clients, collaborators and talent.
  • Assembling the camera kit.
  • Filming on Canon cinema cameras.
  • Interviewing and direction.
  • Consent forms.
  • Filming with drones and specialty rigs: steadicams, sliders, green screens, motorised/ remotely operated camera systems.
  • Setting-up and operating a teleprompter.
  • Lighting.
  • Sound recording: booms, lavs etc.
  • Still photography on DSLRs.
  • Media management.
  • Equipment maintenance.
  • Professional, safe work practices at all times.
